Travel Teams

NSLL will have 2 travel teams in the Suburban Youth Baseball League (SYBL) this summer. One will be a 9 year old and younger (U9) team and the other will be a 11 year old and younger (U11) team. SYBL is a highly competitive league with teams from over 30 communities in the suburbs of Boston. The SYBL regular season runs from late June until early August, typically with 2 games and 1 practice per week. There are no weekend games. Playoffs will conclude by mid August.

On Saturday, May 31 NSLL will hold tryouts from 5 - 7 pm at Richardson Field for the 11 year old (U11) and younger team. The tryouts for the 9 year old (U9) and younger team will be held at Angier School Field also on May 31 from 5 - 7 pm. The rain date for the tryouts will be the morning of June 1 for both age groups. The registration fee for selected players will be approximately $125, but no one will be turned away due to financial considerations.

Any interested player should pre-register for their respective tryout with the NSLL Summer Baseball Coordinator Don Marsjanik at marsjanik@comcast.net by May 29th. Please provide your son's name and Little League age as your pre-registration.
